Waka Ama/Camp Reflection

 

What did we do at camp?

  • Went to waka ama
  • Stay at school
  • Watched a movie Whale rider
  • Played board games
  • Eat pizza and chips
  • Went on a walk at waka ama

 

What was the most challenging part of camp?

  • Waiting for pizza and chips
  • Sleeping
  • Setting up my bed
  • Packing up my stuuf beding and chlothes

 

To make camp better, I think I would change or add?

  • Change my bed
  • Get least bags
  • Put my bed neater

 

How do I feel about camp now that I have been on this camp? Would you like to go to another school camp?

Yes because ive been on it it wont be new to me and ill fell a bit safer and ill love to go on another school camp

 

What was the best activity? Describe why you thought it was the best.

Waka ama because we got to go on boats and on a hike and hearing intresting stories and also planting harakeke and rowing a waka

 

Describe one thing that you learnt while on camp

That there are stories in the world that arent heard and some are intresting.

That wakas are big and strong.

Week #29 (19) 100 word chellange

Salt  Brown Melted Giraffe Greasy

Once upon a time there was a giraffe that was a chef he loved to cook but one day there was a Greasy  squid the giraffe want to cook the squid so he turned on the oven he Melted some butter and chucked it on he put the squid on the tray and sprinkled so  Brown sugar and some Salt he cooked the squid up for five hours and took it out and put it on the bench choped it up and served for humans to eat humans where very happy when they tried it

The March to May Blog challenge

I had a good start to my blog it was hard at first then I started to get the hang of things and my Favourite weekly task is week 6 task MUSIC it was fun when we made our own music and share what we have made and the world can here I made so many music it got a couple of comments the hardest challenge was week 5 all around the world for me because it had so many challenges it took me along time to finish some of the blog challenges we hard but a lot.

An instrument that you will find out about a Cello

A Cello is a instrument that is kinda like a violin but much bigger it baroque -era music it was developed in 1660 from a bass violin a cello costs up to $ 1000.00 at least a couple hundred dollars cellos are made in many different sizes you at least ave to be five feet tall to play a cello a cello ways up to 2600kg to 3500kg  a child’s violin cost to $50 to $500 dollars. Cellos are hard to learn but if you try  for a couple of years you could be good at the cello I advise you try and play the cello

what happens at break times in OIS

At break times

Break time comes and kids come running to get to the canteen we have a small canteen it is just like a box the rare at least 4 canteens in Oamaru  most people by pies hot chips and juices.

In the break there are a lot of things happening Mr martin play tackle bull rush people getting tackled  people on the ground some people are also a we bit hard.

Some kids don’t play with kids it sad to see some kids lonely that’s why we include them in our games.
